The Moon Landing also had significant economic implications. The Apollo program employed hundreds of thousands of people and involved over 20,000 industrial firms and universities. This led to economic growth, particularly in sectors related to aerospace and electronics. Moreover, the technological innovations spurred by the Moon Landing have since generated billions of dollars in revenue, from the personal computer industry to the GPS market.
